Bowmore Distillery Cottages: Terms and Conditions

All bookings must be confirmed with a 25% deposit.

If you cancel more than 6 weeks before your due arrival date, your deposit will be returned only if we can re‑let the accommodation.

As it is almost impossible to re‑let self‑catering accommodation on a casual basis near to the time of occupancy, particularly on Islay, we regret that, in common with most self‑catering establishments, any person cancelling their booking within 6 weeks of the due date of arrival will be liable for their full rental charge.

You must pay the balance of the rental to us at least 4 weeks before your due arrival date.

Access to Bowmore Distillery Cottages is normally from 15:30 on the date of arrival; we would normally ask you to leave our cottages by 10:00 on the date of departure.

We regret that we do not accept pets, no matter how well behaved, at Bowmore Distillery Cottages (except Guide Dogs).

You will take reasonable care of any of our property while staying at Bowmore Distillery Cottages, and we reserve the right to charge you for any breakage or damage to our property caused by any person in your party at Bowmore Distillery Cottages.

We accept no liability whatsoever for loss or damage to any person’s property whilst you are staying at Bowmore Distillery Cottages. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall restrict our liability for any death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Scotland.
